Project Consulting

After almost 15 years working in JOFEE (Jewish Food, Farming and Environmental Education) organizations to build programs and original curriculum, it brings Aya great joy to support others to craft earth-based Jewish learning for their communities. From helping a conservative congregation to redesign their entire Hebrew school, to building curriculum for a 3-week trip for teens at Eden Village camp, Aya works with a diverse array of clients to bring their visions to life.

“Aya embodies the meaning of the word Rabbi (teacher) as she truly is a teacher’s teacher. When writing our nature-based curriculum, Aya went beyond the surface level and crafted lessons with depth and meaning that were rooted deeply in Jewish texts and values. She trains teachers and guides students with a calmness and quiet passion for the natural world. She is easy to collaborate with, sharing innovative ideas of her own while also making space for what others offer. The Torah she brings to the world will enrich it and shine as a light to others for years to come.”
